Algebra 2 - Thursday September 5 2019 Problems Involving Linear Function Notation | Part 1 Day 1

There were supposed to be three rounds of notes, but we will move the third round to a Day 2. Today's lesson was about using the calculator to help us with fractions. We also applied function notation into problems we know how to do involving creating linear functions with slope and two points.

Geometry - Tuesday September 3 2019 Angle Addition Postulate and Geometry Toolkit

First, we went over #20 on last night's HW that dealt with segments.

Tuesday 09/03/2019 Part 1/3

Next, we learned about a similar topic, the angle addition postulate.

Tuesday 09/03/2019 Part 2/3

Last, we summarized our learning through the use of a toolkit.

Algebra 2 - Thursday August 29 2019 Slope & Creating Linear Equations

Today, we calculated how to find slope by graph and by the slope formula. We then created linear equations in the form of y = mx + b given the graph, and given other pieces of information.

Geometry - Thursday August 29 2019 Algebra 1 Review: Simplifying and Solving (continued), & Segment Addition Postulate

For the first part, we finished last night's content of solving for x.

Thursday 08/29/2019 Part 1/3

We then went on to today's lesson on segment addition postulate. The last video is how to solve #19. We will finish angle addition postulate next class.

Geometry - Tuesday August 27 2019 Algebra 1 Review: Simplifying and Solving

Today marks our first lesson of Geometry, which is Algebra review. As I stated in class, before every geometrical concepts, we will review the algebra that is needed. The first two videos are simplifying expressions.

Tuesday 08/27/2019 Part 1/4

Tuesday 08/27/2019 Part 2/4

We also reviewed simplifying radicals. The first video is the break-up method. The last video is Ms. Lentz's method of dividing by the highest square number. By the end of this lesson, I am asking you to pick just ONE method that works for you.
